Rollover To Zoom
Tres Buhis Cabernet Sauvignon from D.O. Yecla — fuller and meatier than its Tempranillo sibling, with balsamic and spice woven through dark fruit. Kosher Spanish Cab at a serious weeknight price.
Mood: Full, Spanish, meaty.
"Spanish Cab from Yecla, kosher and KFP, at fifteen dollars — this is what a smart weeknight red should be. Real fruit, no makeup, no compromise."
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-purple. Nose of cassis, black cherry, dried herb and a whisper of balsamic. The palate is medium-full with grippy but rounded tannins, dark berry fruit, a hint of tobacco leaf and warm Mediterranean spice. Finish is warm, cleanly resolved and satisfying.
Food Pairing
Made for Shabbos brisket, grilled ribeye, or a burger night. Also excellent alongside chorizo-style sausage, hard cheeses, and slow-braised short ribs.
