Rollover To Zoom
Nava Blanc is Tzafona's semi-sweet Vidal/Riesling white from Niagara — named for the grower-winemaker's niece, delicately floral, lightly peachy. The everyday Niagara white that plays nicely with almost any Shabbos course.
Mood: Soft, floral, everyday.
"A grown-up semi-sweet — the Riesling brings citrus lift, the Vidal gives it Niagara character. This is a smart weeknight bottle that works at Kiddush too."
Tasting Notes
Pale straw. Nose of ripe peach, white flower, honeysuckle and a whisper of green apple. The palate is off-dry to semi-sweet with soft orchard fruit, gentle citrus and a lift of acidity that keeps it fresh. Finish is light, cleanly sweet and pleasantly persistent.
Food Pairing
A crowd-friendly Shabbos white — pours with roast chicken, honey-glazed salmon, or a summer salad course. Also excellent at Kiddush with sponge cake, apple strudel, or a fresh fruit platter.
