Rollover To Zoom
Nava Ruby is Tzafona's semi-sweet Niagara red — cold-climate fruit showing black cherry, currant and a hint of smoke. Vegan-friendly, kosher, KFP: the Niagara-red counterpart to their soft, floral Nava Blanc.
Mood: Soft, ruby, Niagara.
"Cold-climate Canadian red at $20 that's kosher, KFP, and semi-sweet without being confectionary — a smart weeknight bottle for anyone who wants a break from the Kedem shelf."
Tasting Notes
Bright ruby. Nose of black cherry, red currant, a whisper of smoke and dried herb. The palate is medium-bodied and lightly sweet with red-and-black berry fruit, soft tannins and a gentle mineral edge. Finish is smooth, cleanly sweet and pleasantly persistent.
Food Pairing
Pairs happily with Shabbos brisket, roast chicken, pulled beef sandwiches or Motzei Shabbos pizza. Also lovely at Kiddush with sponge cake, honey cake, or a fruit-and-cheese platter.
