Rollover To Zoom
Vizar Roble is a Castilla y Leon red blend led by Tempranillo, rounded out with Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon and rested in oak (roble). Vino de la Tierra classification with the sunny warmth of central Spain and a modern kosher-market label.
Mood: warm, ripe, sunny.
Tempranillo doing the heavy lifting with Syrah spice on the side. An approachable Spanish red for a mid-week Shabbos dinner.
Tasting Notes
Ripe black cherry, plum, and blackberry on the nose, with warm cedar and a whisper of vanilla oak. The palate is medium-full and rounded, with black-fruit compote, dried herbs, and gentle spice framed by soft tannins. The finish is warm and clean.
Food Pairing
A weeknight-to-Shabbos crossover with roast chicken, brisket, kugel, or paella-style mushroom rice. Also holds up to aged Manchego and cured meats.
