Rollover To Zoom
Soliter is Beppe Pescaja's Barbera d'Asti DOCG in its mevushal expression, the Piedmontese red-fruit-forward classic, flash-pasteurized so it can pass freely around a busy Shabbos table. Robust, voluptuous, and unmistakably Barbera.
Mood: red fruit, plush, worry-free.
Real Barbera d'Asti, real DOCG, real mevushal. Rare category, and Pescaja makes it approachable and delicious. Pour and pass without a moment's hesitation.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby color. The nose is inviting and fresh, rich in red fruits with balsamic memories. The palate surprises first with rich strawberry-jam sweetness, then leaves a very pleasant fresh acidity. Medium-full body, ripe fruit, and a clean, food-hungry finish.
Food Pairing
A Shabbos and yom tov classic with meat-based pasta courses, brisket, cold cuts, and grilled meats. Also excellent with hard aged cheeses and mushroom pizza. Pass around the table with confidence.
