Rollover To Zoom
A small-batch Swartland Shiraz from J. Folk, the Cape Town craft house pouring modern, bright-label South African wine into the kosher world. The bottle delivers everything Swartland is loved for: dark fruit, gentle spice, and a smooth, easy hand on the palate.
Mood: Bold, sun-warmed, easy.
"A Swartland Shiraz that wears its art-pop label proudly — uncomplicated, generous, and built for a Friday-night table that wants color in the glass and on the bottle."
Tasting Notes
Aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, and a whisper of cracked black pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy dark fruit, supple tannins, and a lift of warm baking spice. The finish is smooth and rounded, lingering with soft pepper and a touch of vanilla.
Food Pairing
A natural for Shabbos brisket, slow-cooked cholent, and grilled lamb skewers. Also handles a sharp aged Gouda on the kiddush table or a mid-week pepper-crusted steak.
