Rollover To Zoom
Five Stones Vineyards sits in the Adulam region of the Judean Hills, on the very land where David gathered his five smooth stones before facing Goliath. Their D vs G Rose is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, hand-harvested in August, with the ripe peach hue and floral lift of a serious Judean Hills pink.
Mood: peachy, floral, biblical.
A rose named for a Chumash story, grown on the very hills where it happened. Delicate but not fragile, the way Judean Hills rose ought to be.
Tasting Notes
Fresh peach, red currant, and a whisper of rose petal on the nose. The palate is soft and floral, with red-berry fruit, a hint of citrus zest, and a gentle refreshing acidity. The finish is clean and balanced.
Food Pairing
A Shabbos lunch and yom tov pour with grilled fish, chicken salad, sushi, or dairy meals with soft cheeses. Also lovely at a Melava Malka with mezze and dried fruit.
