Rollover To Zoom
Carmel Limited Edition is the winery's flagship Bordeaux blend, drawn from its finest Upper Galilee vineyards and made in an old-world style that nods to Baron Rothschild's French tradition. After sixteen months in French oak and another year of bottle age, it arrives layered, sleek, and built to keep evolving in the cellar.
Mood: Stately, dark, deliberate.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-purple in the glass with aromas of ripe plums, cassis, violets, and bittersweet chocolate threaded through hints of smoke and cedar. The palate is full-bodied and tightly woven — graphite, dark berry, sweet spice — with fine-grained tannin holding everything in place. The finish is long, well-balanced, and carries its 14.9% alcohol with quiet elegance.
Food Pairing
Built for the Shabbos and Yom Tov table when the centerpiece is dark and savory — slow-braised brisket, short ribs, cholent, lamb roast. Equally at home with a wedge of aged cheese to close the meal.
