Eastside Distilling takes its 4-year Kentucky-sourced bourbon back to Portland for a second rest in heavily charred Oregon oak barrels. The double-barreling lays a layer of toasted vanilla and dessert sweetness over a classic bourbon spine.

Tasting notes
Honeyed fruit cake, charcoal and herbed corn bread. Soft, dryish medium body with caramel, vanilla and gentle oak spice. Warming praline, pink peppercorn and slate.

Sip neat after dinner, pour over one big rock, or build an Old Fashioned that leans into its sweeter side.
