Our sommelier says
Deep ruby-purple, dense in the glass. The nose is layered and serious - blackcurrant, black cherry, cedar, dark chocolate, a mineral and dried-herb signature from the high-elevation forest fruit. Cabernet Sauvignon leads on the structural spine, Petit Verdot adds the leafy graphite lift and dark color, Merlot rounds the mid-palate. Full-bodied, finely tannic, French oak fully absorbed. Long, mineral, layered finish. Decant an hour for current drinking; built to hold a decade-plus in the cellar.
