Rollover To Zoom
Feudi del Pisciotto's Missoni Cabernet Sauvignon dresses a serious Val di Noto Cab in a Missoni-designed label — one of the Fashion Top Designers collection that put kosher Sicily on the runway. Barrique aging adds polish; the Sicilian sun does the rest.
Mood: Fashion, sun, structure.
"A Sicilian Cab with a fashion-house label that could easily coast on looks — but doesn't. The wine inside earns the bottle every pour."
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red. Intense fruity nose of cherry, raspberry and elegant sweet spice. The palate is full-bodied and round with noteworthy but well-integrated tannins, dark berry, a hint of tobacco and Mediterranean scrub. The finish is long, warm, savory.
Food Pairing
Bring it out for the Shabbos brisket, roasted rack of lamb, or a Yom Tov ribeye. Also excellent alongside eggplant caponata, veal Marsala and aged Italian hard cheeses on the Motzei Shabbos board.
