Rollover To Zoom
Or Haganuz Amuka is the winery's mid-tier Cabernet Sauvignon in magnum: single-vineyard Judean and Upper Galilee fruit from the Chassidic cooperative at the foot of Mount Meron, in a 1.5L format sized for a full Shabbos table.
Mood: Full-bodied, kiddush-worthy, magnum.
Sommelier's note
"A serious mountain-fruit Cab in magnum. Blackcurrant, cedar, and mocha, wrapped in oak. The bottle for a table that goes deep on Shabbos main course."
Tasting notes
Deep ruby with aromas of blackcurrant, black plum, cedar, and toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied and dry, with black cherry, espresso, dark chocolate, and firm structured tannin. The finish is long, warm, and spice-lifted.
Food pairing
Prime rib, rack of lamb, brisket, dry-aged steak, aged hard cheeses. A magnum for a full Shabbos or yom tov table.
