Rollover To Zoom
Tuke is Beppe Pescaja's Nebbiolo from the Terre Alfieri DOC, a Piedmontese red that draws from the same grape as Barolo and Barbaresco but at a lighter, more approachable weight. Kosher, non-mevushal, and unmistakably Piedmont.
Mood: rose petal, cherry, elegant.
Nebbiolo without the Barolo price tag. Kosher, from a Piedmontese winemaker who helped write the Terre Alfieri DOC. A rare category done well.
Tasting Notes
Dark crimson with a bright rim. The nose opens on ripe plums, cherries, and rose petal with a warm floral lift. The palate is dark-fruited with light carbonic freshness, a slim body, and a dry Nebbiolo finish carrying gentle tannin and mineral spice.
Food Pairing
A Shabbos Italian classic with pasta al ragu, veal osso buco, roast lamb, or a slow-braised short rib. Also natural with hard aged cheeses and mushroom-forward dishes.
