Rollover To Zoom
A late-harvest Chardonnay from Psagot's Jerusalem Mountains vineyards — picked late so the sugars concentrate, then rested a year in French and Hungarian oak. Rich, honeyed, golden in the glass. The 500ml bottle is exactly right for the end of a meal: a few small pours, no pressure to finish.
In the glass
Honeycomb and ripe pear on the nose. The palate is unctuous but balanced — apricot, candied citrus, vanilla, a thread of bright acidity that keeps it from sliding into syrup. Long, warm finish with toasted hazelnut.
From the table
Pour with fruit tarts, crème brûlée, baklava, a wedge of aged cheese. Equally good on its own as the last sip of the night. Serve chilled (around 50°F / 10°C).
