Rollover To Zoom
Segal's Petit Unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon is the little brother to Segal's flagship — bold Upper Galilee fruit, bottled unfiltered, mevushal for the serious Shabbos steak.
Mood: Bold. Rustic. Concentrated.
Our sommelier says
Unfiltered means it comes with sediment and swagger. Decant an hour, pour with brisket, don't be shy.
Tasting notes
Concentrated blackcurrant, cedar and warm spice on the nose. Palate is full-bodied with firm tannin and layered dark fruit. Finish is long with lingering oak and cocoa.
Food pairing
Built for grilled ribeye, roast lamb, brisket, and hard aged cheeses. Handles cholent and heavy Shabbos meals with grace.
