Legacy is Teperberg's top tier, and the label carries a reproduction of a hand-written postcard from the family archive — the winery has been in Jerusalem since 1870 and it wants you to know it. Cabernet Franc is the grape.
Mood: Herbal, fine, serious.
Our sommelier says
Cabernet Franc has a green, peppery streak that is the point of the grape, not a flaw. Do not over-chill it or it dominates.
Tasting notes
Red currant, violet and a leafy, peppery note. Medium to full across the palate with fine tannin and a savoury core. A long finish with a peppery, herbal edge.
Food pairing
Roast lamb, herbed chicken and grilled vegetables. Good with a Yom Tov main course.
