Rollover To Zoom
Yarden Pinot Gris is grown entirely on two vineyards in the high elevations of the northern Golan Heights. The cool climate, rocky volcanic soil, and altitude echo the conditions that made the varietal famous in Alsace and northeastern Italy, giving the wine unusual depth for its category.
Mood: Aromatic, mineral, refined.
Tasting Notes
Aromatic on the nose with nashi pear, guava, lime, melon, and banana fruit characters, over notes of mineral and spice. The palate is medium-bodied and captivating, with lingering flavor and a clean structure. The finish is long and stone-driven.
Food Pairing
A natural partner for Thai green curry chicken, sea bass carpaccio, or pasta primavera. Also fine with roasted chicken, fresh salmon, and any spice-forward Shabbos dish that needs a lift. Best consumed within a couple of years of vintage.
