Rollover To Zoom
Richer and smokier than its blanco and reposado siblings — aged oak meets baked agave with a toasted-coconut overlay. Zarza at its most contemplative.
Mood: After-dinner pour, neat in a snifter.
Our sommelier says
100% blue Weber agave from Lowland and Highland Jalisco, rested past the one-year añejo mark. Spring water from Volcán de Tequila.
Tasting notes
Vanilla, baked agave, toasted oak, dried coconut. Round and slightly smoky; cooked agave with oak spice. Long and warming, wood holding center.
Food pairing
Neat or over a single large rock; carne asada, dark chocolate, smoked nuts.
