Rollover To Zoom
A small-production California dessert wine from Herzog's late harvest program. Orange Muscat picked when sugars peak, made into a honeyed, low-alcohol sipper meant to close out dinner in style.
Mood: rich, sweet, dessert-table star.
Our sommelier says
"Pour this beside chocolate, fruit tarts, or a wedge of blue cheese. Half a glass goes a long way — honey, orange peel, and warmth in every sip."
Tasting notes
Aromas of orange marmalade, honey, apricot, and orange-blossom water. The palate is sweet and viscous with bright acidity keeping it lively. Finish lingers on candied citrus and floral notes.
Food pairing
Fruit tarts, citrus desserts, blue and aged cheeses, chocolate, foie-gras-style apps. Serve lightly chilled.
