Rollover To Zoom
Contessa Annalisa Carino Bianco is the semi-sweet white sister to the Carino red, a Pinot Grigio and Glera blend meant to please a whole table on first pour. Mevushal, kosher for Passover, and impossible to be shy about.
Mood: Soft. Floral. Easy.
Tasting notes
White peach, nectarine, and a soft note of jasmine lift the nose. The palate is round and gently sweet, with ripe pear and stone fruit carrying to a soft, off-dry mid-palate. The finish is short, clean, and lightly floral, made to make room for the next glass.
Food pairing
Serve well-chilled with dairy Shabbos lunches, blintzes, herb salads, roast chicken, and Sephardic fish courses. Also a natural for Shavuos cheesecake.
