Rollover To Zoom
The Pachita is La Reina's 200ml copper-clad hip flask, a portable expression of their artisanal raicilla. 100% wild Agave Maximiliana from the Western Sierra of Jalisco, cooked in an upright adobe oven, mashed by hand with wooden mallets, fermented in white-oak vats, and double-distilled in stainless steel.
Mood: smoky-clean, portable, artisan.
Raicilla is Jalisco's other agave spirit, older than tequila and rarer than mezcal. La Reina makes it the ancestral way, and slips it into a copper flask you can carry.
Tasting Notes
Bright cooked-agave and green-fig aromas with a wisp of white pepper. The palate is clean and silky, with sweet baked agave, gentle citrus, and a whisper of minerality. The finish is clean and warming, softly herbaceous.
Food Pairing
Neat in a small glass with a squeeze of lime, or a proper Paloma. Also excellent alongside grilled fish, tacos al pastor (kosher-appropriate), or fresh guacamole.
