Rollover To Zoom
Tomintoul 14 Year is a Speyside single malt matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon casks, non-chill-filtered, and Star-K listed for kosher-observant drinkers. Softer and more floral than most Speysiders in the category.
Mood: Soft. Floral. Speyside.
Tasting notes
The nose lifts vanilla, honey, and a soft note of orchard fruit over a floral malt lift. The palate is smooth and creamy, with baked apple, warm honey, and a subtle baking-spice edge carried on a light bourbon-cask oak. The finish is medium-long and gentle, with a lingering honey note and a soft spice close.
Food pairing
Serve neat as an after-dinner dram or on a large ice cube. Beautiful with dark chocolate, honey cake, aged cheeses, and fruit-and-nut plates. A gift-worthy dram for the whisky drinker who prefers subtlety over smoke.
